Meeting with Huatong Group on an Intelligent Busway Solution

      From April 26 to 29, Huatong Group Chairman Zhao Yiping and Yang Liu from Jiuwei Busway Technology held in-depth discussions with Lu Jian, General Manager of Yangzhong Yifeng Technology Co., Ltd., at the office of the chairman of Jiangsu Huatong Electric Co., Ltd. on intelligent busway technical solutions.

      Jiangsu Huatong Electric Co., Ltd., located on Nanshi Road in Xinba Science and Technology Park, Yangzhong, is a well-known domestic manufacturer specializing in the R&D, design, and production of switchgear, intelligent busway, intelligent track busway, tubular busway, and common-box busway products. Jiangsu Huatong Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. holds Grade III qualifications for general contracting of electrical engineering construction and Grade II qualifications for electronic and intelligent engineering construction.
       Huatong Electric Group Co., Ltd. is a key drafting unit for the national mechanical industry standard “Busway Intelligent Measurement and Control System” JB/T 13691-2019, and Chairman Zhao Yiping is a core drafter of the standard. The standard was officially released and implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on April 1, 2020. Huatong’s intelligent busway uses LoRa wireless technology and offers remote control, adjustment, monitoring, and status signaling functions. It has already been widely applied in data centers and large public construction projects, playing an important role in advancing the intelligent busway industry in China.
        Jiuwei Busway Technology Jiangsu Co., Ltd. is currently developing intelligent busway solutions using NB-IoT wireless technology and plans to implement an integrated hybrid communication solution combining international standard broadband power line carrier communication with Wi-Fi to support intelligent busway and intelligent electrical systems. The third round of tape-out for the hybrid communication chip is currently under testing. As one of the founders of Jiuwei intelligent busway, Yang Liu gave the attending leaders a detailed introduction to Jiuwei’s planning process for intelligent busway, including its understanding and test results regarding LoRa, NB-IoT, Wi-Fi, and broadband power line carrier solutions, the current status of international and national standards for broadband power line carrier, and the development status of Dalian Jiuwei’s hybrid communication chips and audio chips.
       Chairman Zhao Yiping presented Huatong’s intelligent busway module, introducing its design process, development model, and the attention given to relevant national grid standards and the offshore wind power environment during development. Yang Liu showcased Jiuwei’s second tape-out hybrid communication detection solution, the NB-IoT intelligent busway module, and the design approach, drawing high praise for Huatong’s large and robust intelligent busway design solution.
       Through this exchange, Jiuwei Busway gained a clearer understanding of the current state of China’s intelligent busway industry, recognized the strengths and innovation-driven needs of manufacturers, and received recognition and support from a leading enterprise. The two parties agreed to pursue further cooperation at an appropriate time.
