The Intelligent Busway System refers to a data acquisition and analysis early-warning system independently developed by Jiangsu Jiuwei Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., with 22 first-class and 6 second-class intellectual property rights, and internationally leading technology. Jiuwei’s intelligent busway system is designed for enclosed environments commonly found in busway projects, such as basements, floor shafts separated by slabs, and electrical rooms enclosed by walls. It integrates broadband power line communication, Zigbee 3.0 wireless communication, 5G base-station communication, and advanced digital sensing technologies to form an acquisition system. The product is composed of modules such as a temperature and humidity model database, an intelligent busway mapping system, and cloud-based data analysis and early-warning systems. Due to its relatively high cost, it is currently used mainly in key projects.

Broadband power line communication uses one of the most widely adopted and reliable communication protocols in the world, with a maximum rate of up to 16 Mbps. A single system can support up to 255 nodes, and with relay technology, the communication distance can reach up to around 5 kilometers. Zigbee 3.0 technology can support up to 64,000 nodes in a single system. The integration of both technologies can meet the acquisition needs of virtually any busway project.
