Fire-resistant busway, as the name suggests, is a busway that cannot be ignited by flame. Similar to fire-resistant cable trays, its fire resistance is mainly due to the fire-resistant plastic coating applied to the busway housing.

Similar to fire-resistant cable trays, its fire resistance is mainly due to the fire-resistant plastic coating applied to the busway housing. In the market, fire-resistant busway is often confused with fire-resistant busway, but the two are clearly different: fire-resistant busway does not have fire endurance performance; it simply does not burn. In a fire, it may only operate for 5 to 30 minutes, whereas fire-resistant busway can continue operating in intense flames for up to 180 minutes.
