High-Rise Building Project: Shanghai Qingpu Wuyue Plaza Busway Project Completed

Wuyue Plaza in Qingpu District, Shanghai, is one of the flagship commercial real estate brand projects under Seazen Holdings.
As of January 10, 2019, Seazen Holdings had 96 Wuyue Plazas under construction or already open across more than 70 large and medium-sized cities nationwide. In 2018, the company achieved its target of opening 19 new Wuyue Plazas, bringing the total number of open locations to 42. Data showed that Wuyue Plaza's 2018 rental and management fee income reached RMB 2.116 billion, a year-on-year increase of approximately 107%, exceeding the full-year target of RMB 2 billion.
The Shanghai Qingpu Wuyue Plaza Compact Busway project was an electrical retrofit and upgrade project. The existing site was densely packed with cable trays, ventilation ducts, water pipes, fire protection pipes, and sprinkler pipes, and some areas also had light-gauge steel framing and other fit-out work already in place. Installation had to pass through several thick walls, with installation heights ranging from around 4 to 9 meters. The greatest challenge was the extremely tight construction schedule. For the installation of more than 300 meters of busway, the company deployed two engineering teams working overtime every day, including three consecutive all-night shifts at the end. By the client's deadline of the early morning of May 1st, the teams were completely exhausted — but the power-on test succeeded on the first attempt, and the project was energized on schedule.
This project was one of the most technically demanding the company has undertaken in recent years — the schedule was extremely tight and the installation conditions difficult, requiring real-time coordination between the factory and the job site. It was a genuine test of our surveying and design, production and logistics, and on-site installation capabilities.
