From April 26 to 29, Zhao Yiping, Chairman of Huatong Group, and Yang Liu of Jiuwei Busway Technology held in-depth discussions on smart busway technical solutions in the chairman's office of Jiangsu Huatong Electric Co., Ltd., accompanied by Lu Jian, General Manager of Yangzhong Yifeng Technology Co., Ltd.

Jiangsu Huatong Electric Co., Ltd., located on Nanzi Road in the Xinba Science and Technology Park, Yangzhong City, Jiangsu Province, is a well-known domestic manufacturer specializing in the R&D, design, and production of switchgear distribution cabinets, smart busway, smart track busway, pipe-type busway, common-enclosure busway, and related products. Jiangsu Huatong Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. holds Grade III general contracting qualification for electric power engineering construction and Grade II specialized contracting qualification for electronic and intelligent engineering.
Huatong Electric Group Co., Ltd. was a key drafting unit of the national mechanical industry standard "Busway Intelligent Monitoring and Control System" (JB/T 13691-2019), with Chairman Zhao Yiping as its core drafter. The standard was officially released and implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on April 1, 2020. Huatong's smart busway uses LoRa wireless technology, offering intelligent control functions such as remote control, remote adjustment, remote measurement, and remote signaling, and has been widely applied in data centers and major national public construction projects, playing a leading role in advancing China's smart busway industry.
Jiuwei Busway Technology Jiangsu Co., Ltd. currently uses NB-IoT wireless technology to develop its smart busway solutions, and plans to adopt a hybrid communication approach combining international-standard broadband power line carrier communication with WiFi and other wireless technologies to realize smart busway and smart electrical systems; the third tape-out of its hybrid communication chip is currently in the testing phase. As one of the founders of Jiuwei's smart busway program, Yang Liu gave the attending leaders a detailed introduction to the understanding and test results gathered on LoRa, NB-IoT, WiFi, and broadband power line carrier solutions during Jiuwei's smart busway planning process, the current status of international and national standards for broadband power line carrier communication, and the development status of Dalian Jiuwei's hybrid communication chip and audio chip.
Chairman Zhao Yiping presented Huatong's smart busway module, explaining its design process, development approach, and the attention paid during development to State Grid-related standards and offshore wind power environments. Yang Liu presented the test board from Jiuwei's second hybrid-communication chip tape-out, along with the NB-IoT smart busway module and its design and development approach, and expressed great admiration for the solid, imposing design of Huatong's smart busway.
