China Resources Power (full name: China Resources Power Holdings Co., Ltd.) is the flagship Hong Kong-listed company of China Resources (Group) Co., Ltd. (“CR Group”), primarily investing in, developing, constructing, operating, and managing thermal power, wind power, hydropower, coal, and distributed energy projects in China's more economically developed or coal-rich regions. As of the end of 2012, China Resources Power's total assets reached HK$177.8 billion, with investments spanning 19 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across China. The company managed and owned 70 power plants, with an operating equity installed capacity of 25.271 million kW — including 23.292 million kW of thermal power, and 1.622 million kW, 280,000 kW, and 77,000 kW of wind, hydro, and gas-fired power respectively. Its controlling and minority-held coal enterprises had a combined controllable capacity of approximately 33.52 million tons per year.
China Resources Power's Wujianfang Power Plant is part of an integrated coal-power-rail-port project that China Resources Power invested in across eastern Inner Mongolia and Liaoning, and operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Resources Power. The Wujianfang coal mine is located in Xilingol League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, containing long-flame coal and lignite with reserves of approximately 4.5 billion tons and recoverable reserves of approximately 2.9 billion tons. Phase one of the mine plans two pairs of shafts with a capacity of 20 million tons per year. The power plant is a pit-mouth station supplying electricity to the Northeast China Power Grid, also wholly owned by China Resources Power, with a planned capacity of two 660 MW air-cooled supercritical units that make comprehensive use of coal gangue and low-calorific-value lignite.
The interconnecting Compact Busway at China Resources Power's Wujianfang Power Plant carries high current and connects multiple floors, making on-site measurement and drawing especially challenging. Jiuwei Intelligent's busway engineers spent three consecutive days on site taking measurements and completing the drawings, enabling the successful production and supply of the busway products for this project.
