High-Rise Building Project: Yuanda Plaza Phase II, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province

The Phase II Busway project at Yuanda Plaza in Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, is located at the intersection of Zhuhai Avenue and Yingbin Avenue. It covers approximately 30 mu (about 2 hectares), with a total floor area of 120,000 square meters and a green coverage rate of 41%. The development consists of a 17-story mid-rise building, a 32-story super high-rise tower, and around 10,000 square meters of commercial space. The Busway runs from the basement-level distribution room to supply power to the two high-rise towers, with a total length of about 320 meters. The project used 1600A Busway, supplied in 3-meter sections, which are quite heavy. Since construction fell in summer with hot weather, and Zhaotong sits at high altitude with lower air pressure, the high-rise elevators could not be used — the Busway sections had to be carried up to each floor by hand. Installation took 15 days to complete.
