Factory Project: TBEA Xinjiang Transformer Plant Busbar Connection Project
TBEA Xinjiang Transformer Plant is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TBEA Co., Ltd., located within TBEA's Northwest Industrial Park. It has grown into a backbone enterprise of China's electromechanical industry, a state-designated transformer manufacturer, a nationally recommended producer for urban and rural power grid construction and renovation, and one of the first national pilot demonstration enterprises for patents. It was the first transformer manufacturer in China to win both the "China Well-Known Trademark" and "China Famous Brand Product" honors. This project involved fabricating Busway connection busbars for the plant's transformers.
Because this project involved a large number of transformers carrying high currents, the connection busbars were large in size and required high-precision fabrication strictly to drawing — a tolerance error exceeding 0.3mm would have caused installation difficulties. Since busbar processing involves intensive, multi-step techniques, the appropriate process had to be selected based on material properties during machining to ensure the material would not crack or deform during cutting, bending, and stamping. The project was ultimately completed successfully, with installation succeeding on the first attempt.
